Pretty - A Short Film

“A two minute glimpse of something that happens literally every day. I hope this inspires open dialogue about the culturally accepted ways women are treated and the real consequences of those actions. Please share this video to spread the conversation. It’s time for men and women to stand up against the gender-based violence.”

This short film about the reality of being cat-called on the street is being put down severely in the comments, saying the girl is being ridiculous. I agree with the video, being reduced to a sexual object, (he said “isn’t THAT pretty” not “you’re really pretty”) and saying my ass is sexy is disrespectful, and not a compliment. Share this and leave a nice comment to support it. The fact that it’s getting so many negative comments is the reason why we need to spread this important message. 

87% of women face this. Cat-calling is not flattery, it is objectifying and degrading a woman. Please pass on if you have any interest in humanity whatsoever.
